The Vineyard

Just for fun we have planted a couple of small vineyards.  This is not known as a wine producing area, so it is just a bit of a trial.  We have  rows of Merlot, Cab. Sav, Shiraz, Muscato and others.  This year the grapes came on beautifully, but a hot wet season had them deteriorate very quickly.  For the experience we processed the Merlot grapes and the Cab. Sav.  

We purchased a crusher destemmer which made the first process easier, and now we will just have to wait and see what the outcome is.

Our expectations are not great however.
