The Poultry population

There is a great mixture of poultry, who have free run of the countryside.  The duck breeds include buff orpingtons, and peking.

Among the laying hens there are also some silkies.  I am attempting to breed towards the more red coloured silkies.  We enjoy the fresh, organic eggs collected each day.
